Since its launch in 2015, Saint Lucia's Citizenship by Investment Program has become an accessible pathway to dual citizenship. The program allows individuals to acquire Saint Lucian citizenship without relocating or renouncing their original nationality. Applicants can select from a range of investment options, such as contributions to the National Economic Fund, purchasing real estate, acquiring government bonds, or investing in enterprise projects—catering to various financial preferences.
One of the key highlights of the program is the ability to include family members in the application, such as dependent children, parents, and eligible unmarried siblings. Entrepreneurs and investors particularly benefit from Saint Lucia's tax-friendly policies, which include no taxes on worldwide income.
The nation itself is a tropical paradise, known for its unspoiled beaches, lush rainforests, picturesque waterfalls, and tranquil fishing villages. Complemented by high-end resorts, premium real estate opportunities, and a low crime rate, Saint Lucia offers an exceptional quality of life. Additionally, Saint Lucian citizenship grants visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 148 countries, enhancing global mobility for families and individuals alike.
The National Economic Fund is a non-refundable donation initiative designed to attract foreign
investments. The required contribution is:
- USD 240,000* for the main applicant and up to three qualifying
dependents.
- Additional dependents under 18 years old (0-17) require USD 10,000 each,
while those aged 18 or older require USD 20,000 each.
*Excludes Due Diligence, government, and other associated fees.
Invest in luxurious properties, such as hotels or boutique developments, listed on the government’s pre-approved real estate portfolio. A minimum investment of USD 300,000 is required. Additional costs include property registration fees, Due Diligence fees, and a non-refundable government fee.
This option involves purchasing non-interest-bearing government bonds worth USD
300,000, with a mandatory five-year holding period. Other applicable fees
include:
- Administrative fees, payable after approval.
- Due Diligence fees: USD 8,000 for the main applicant and USD
5,000 for each dependent.
